The quality of anodized aluminum foil for automatic hot stamping machine is mainly based on whether it can adapt to the characteristics of various hot stamping materials, and can produce bright, firm, durable and non-discoloring graphics and texts.

The quality of anodized aluminum foil for automatic hot stamping machine should meet the following requirements:

(1) Brightness and appearance quality. The brightness of the anodized aluminum foil is better, the color meets the requirements of the standard hue, the color is uniform, there should be no stripes, stains, color differences, etc., and the color is bright and shiny after hot stamping. The brightness is mainly determined by the aluminized layer and the dyed layer of the anodized aluminum foil.

The surface of the anodized aluminum foil has no blooms, blisters, wrinkles, scratches, etc., and is evenly coated and coiled.

(2) Stickers are firm. The adhesive layer on the surface of the anodized aluminum foil can firmly adhere to a variety of hot stamping materials with different characteristics, and should not fall off or connect under certain temperature conditions. For special hot stamping materials, special adhesive materials should be used for the adhesive layer of anodized aluminum foil to meet special needs. The firmness of adhesion is also related to the process conditions such as hot stamping time, hot stamping temperature and hot stamping pressure. Adjusting the hot stamping process can also change the firmness of the hot stamping of Jianghua aluminum foil.

(3) The performance of the foil film is stable. The chemical properties of the dyed layer of the anodized aluminum foil should be stable. During hot stamping, lamination, and glazing, it will not change color when heated, and the surface film will not be damaged when it is wet. After hot stamping into graphics, it should have long-term heat resistance, light resistance, moisture resistance, Corrosion resistance and other properties.

(4) The isolation layer is easy to separate. The isolation layer should be both adhered to and easily detached from the base layer. Electrochemical aluminum foil products must not be separated from the base layer during production, transportation, and storage. When encountering a certain temperature and pressure, it will be separated from the base layer immediately, and the heated and pressured part should be completely separated, so that the aluminum layer and the dyed layer can be smoothly transferred to the surface of the hot stamping material to form clear graphics. If the part that has not been heated and pressed is still sticking to the base layer, it cannot be transferred, and the transfer part and the non-transfer part should be clearly defined and neat.

(5) Graphics and texts are clear and clean. Within the working temperature range allowed by hot stamping, the anodized aluminum foil does not change color, and the graphics and texts of the size of “four characters” are clear and smooth, and the lines and strokes are not connected or less connected. The dyed layer of the anodized aluminum foil should be evenly coated, and the aluminum-coated layer should have no blisters, no creases, and no obvious stripes.

Clear printing is an important performance of anodized aluminum foil. The hot stamped writing should be free of burrs, which is related to the adhesion between the isolation layer and the adhesive layer and whether the coating is even.
